Installation for the Standing Seam SataMount RCT is straightforward using basic hand tools—no drilling or panel penetrations. Watch the video to see how simple it is to install the SataMount on a standing seam metal roof panel.
You can rely on the SataMount's exceptional strength and durability because it is made in the United States. The SataMount is engineered with a proprietary Defender finish and two 27" sections of Heavy Duty Unistrut to provide over 100 years of service life, exceeding the life expectancy of a metal roof. Other products may use light-gauge aluminum bars with metric nuts and bolts, clip inserts, and other perplexing components. The competition may not include long enough mounting bolts for the Starlink Satellite Dish Mount.
The heavy-duty screw-down SataMount MRM is designed to fit securely and seamlessly on a wide range of screw-down metal roofs, eliminating the need to modify the satellite mount. The proprietary screw-down SataBracket has eight holes for confident fastening to substrates as thin as 1/2 inch thick. The competition only has three fasteners, which may provide just about 1/3 of the attachment strength. The SataBracket is modeled after a time-proven, patented RoofClamp design. It only requires a 1 1/2-inch panel flat to be mounted.
The third-generation Starlink ® Gen 3 only comes with a kickstand, so customers must buy the Optional Gen 3 pivot mount kit from the Starlink® shop website to mount this system on a roof. The Starlink® Gen 3 Mast Adapter kit slides into the kickstand slot and comes with a mast and (SataMount Compatible) pivot mount.
